Sharankumar Limbale, formerly Professor & Director, School of Humanities & Social Science, Y. C. M. U., Nasik, Maharashtra, received the Maharashtra State Award for Literature three times, in 1985, 2004, and 2009. He is a sought after speaker at national and international literature conferences and festivals. His other works include The Outcaste : Akkarmashi, Bahujan, Zund, and Towards an Aesthetics of Dalit Literature.

Parnal Chirmuley is Associate Professor, Centre of German Studies, School of Language, Literature, and Culture Studies, JNU, New Delhi. She translates both from German and her native Marathi. She is the translator of Hermann Kulke’s History of Pre-Colonial India from German into English.
